How To: Cleaning Skyrim Mods with Mod Organizer

First you will want to download Mod Organizer which will help you in cleaning your Skyrim mods.
You can find the link to download Mod Organizer above and I HIGHLY recommend that you do so. 2.
The next step in ensuring a smooth Skyrim experience is to download the two other necessary tools for cleaning Skyrim mods.
The first tool is called LOOTLoad Order Optimization Tool will print out all potential conflicts and errors that could result in CTDs and which mod is responsible.
The next and final tool that is required is called TES5Edit and this is what is used to do the actual Skyrim mod cleaning.

Now you can begin the Skyrim mod cleaning process start by launching Mod Organizer and then click on the icon with two gears.
This will pop up a menu in which you can import the tools you downloaded earlier LOOT and TS5Edit.
Create a title for the application in the title field and navigate to the .exe with the binary field. 4.
Next you will want to go to the drop down box next to the big button that says RUN on the top right side of the Mod Organizer GUI.
Select LOOT and click run.
LOOT will not analyze your mods for any conflicts or errors that can result in a CTD and let you know.
Mods that could cause issues will be highlighted with a yellow or red error message.
Messages that state that ....
ITM references are missing this is a mod that will require cleaning. 5.
Make sure to keep LOOT running as a reference but you will want to go back to the Mod Organizer program to continue cleaning your mods.
Click the drop down menu by the run button again and select TES5Edit.
Once TES5Edit opens a seperate menu displaying your mods will appear.
Right click this and select the select none option.
Now find the mod that you wish to clean click the square box next to it and hit okay.
REMEMBER ONLY ATTEMPT TO CLEAN ONE MOD AT A TIME. 6.
Allow the mod to load and then right click it and select apply filter for cleaning.
After that is done loading through the files you will want to right click the mod esp again and click remove identical records.
Finally you will right click the esp one last time and select undelete and disable references.
Close out of TES5Edit you will be prompted to save the file do so and you are done.
